Elevator inverter replacement compatibility check
Confirm the complete drive model, ratings and revision before requesting an inverter quote.

An elevator inverter is part of a larger drive and control system. When a replacement is needed, the right question is not simply “Which inverter looks similar?” but “Which unit matches this installed system, application and revision?” Gathering the right information before sourcing helps protect lead time, budget and site uptime.

Collect the complete drive identity

Start with a high-resolution photo of the nameplate and record the manufacturer, full model, revision, input and output ratings, power information and visible option cards. Capture the controller and traction machine references too. A drive can have several versions with important differences in terminals, software, I/O configuration or supported motors.

Confirm the operating context

Why model suffixes matter

A single drive series can have different capacity, voltage, communication, feedback and software options. The final characters in a model number may be essential for a correct match. Never remove suffixes from an RFQ, and avoid ordering by a photograph of the front panel alone.

Plan qualified commissioning

Any inverter replacement or parameter work must be completed by qualified personnel using the correct documentation, safety procedures and commissioning process. A compatible hardware reference does not mean that settings can be copied blindly between sites or equipment revisions.
