What BH231/K Is
Built for Gen2®, Sky® and Compass® lifts, the host runs on 24 Vdc ±20 %, ≤45 mA standby, 2 W full duplex. On-board AGC, echo cancellation and 300–3400 Hz response give cabin–machine–management three-way talk, meeting EN 81-28:2018. Simply put: it is the lift’s “911 hotline”.

Six-Step Installation (one tech, 10 min)

Lock-out: switch off the 24 V breaker on the car top; verify zero voltage.

Record & remove: photograph 6P plug (PIN1 24 V, PIN2 0 V, PIN3 Audio+, PIN4 Audio–, PIN5 Shield, PIN6 Spare); undo two self-tappers with Pozidriv #1.

Fit new host: slide Nanjing Zhuye BH231/K into ABS rail until it clicks; torque 0.8 N·m to avoid boss cracks.

Wire one-to-one: match colours; reversed audio polarity causes howling.

Self-test: press TEST 3 s; host announces “Cabin–Machine–Management” = loop OK.
